Full truckloads (FTL) — also known as "truckload" — simply refers to the shipment of a full truck with cargo. While you don't necessarily need a truckload of goods to use FTL shipping, it is generally reserved for companies with larger shipments (over 20,000 lbs) or time-sensitive items that need to arrive quickly. FTL is the quickest and easiest solution for companies requiring a consistent, reliable supply of goods, but it is more expensive than LTL and partial truckloads.

Less chance of damage: By definition, a full truckload only contains goods from one company and is not in danger of being split apart or otherwise vandalized by other parties. In addition, since there are no stops along the way, your products have less opportunity for damage caused by mishandling.
